SCRIPTURES TO READ: Romans 4:1-25
QUESTIONS TO ANSWER:
After reading through Romans chapter 4 this week let us take stock of what we have learnt so far and make a few observations up to this point.
Theme for chapter 4:
Abraham believed God’s promise that He would become the father of many nations. As a result his faith was credited to him as righteousness. These things were written down not only for Abraham’s sake but to all who believe that God justifies people by faith in Jesus Christ.
20 No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21 fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. 22 That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.”
